Mark is a passionate architectural and urban designer with over 20 years experience in complex commercial, mixed-use, residential and seniors living, co-living, BTR, retail, hotel and cultural gallery projects. He possesses great skill and expertise in design, as exemplified in the multi award winning, office tower 1 Bligh Street, Sydney, 32 Smith Street, Parramatta, Harbord Diggers Freshwater, Queensland Gallery of Modern Art and Commonwealth Parliamentary Offices.
Mark has also won a number of international design competitions, most recently Central Place, Sydney comprising 155,000 sqm of commercial and retail space and new civic public realm, 32 Smith St, Parramatta, 1 Bligh Street, Sydney, 100 Mount Street, North Sydney and mixed use seniors, retail and wellbeing headland development The Harbord Diggers, Freshwater. He has also received numerous National and International Awards for his work.
Other notable projects that Mark has completed include the highly acclaimed Queensland Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane and the prestigious Sydney Commonwealth Parliament Offices in Sydney.
He is extremely interested in the importance and use of public space shaping communities, the urban fit and our social responsibility. Mark is passionate about sustainability and innovation and has designed and delivered some of the world's most cutting edge buildings.
He guest lectures at the University of Sydney, UTS, UNSW and Melbourne University and presents at industry conferences locally and internationally on design, architecture and sustainability.
